BJP defers meeting, to celebrate four years of NDA government

Dimapur, June 3 (MExN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland unit has informed its party workers that the 7th State Executive Meeting scheduled for June 5 in Kohima is postponed to June 19 as per the Centre’s directive.

 

A press release from the Media Cell, BJP Nagaland further informed that as resolved in the joint meeting of State office bearers, BJP legislators, Core Committee members held on June 2 in Kohima, the party will commence the NDA government’s 4th year completion celebration throughout the districts on June 7.

 

The party will organize bike rally in three districts – Kohima, Dimapur, and Mokokchung. All other districts will conduct meetings, press conferences, and interactions highlighting the achievements of NDA government in the last four years, the release added.

 

As specifically directed by the Central head office to implement the celebration effectively throughout the State, party members concerned assigned with responsibilities have been requested to reciprocate with promptness.

 

The BJP Nagaland informed that Kohima district will be taken care by Minister Temjen Imna Along and Secretary Aienla, whereas Peren district will be under the supervision of Advisor Kazheto Kinimi and Secretaries Shanbeni and Nyimathung. Dimapur district will be under Minister Kasiho Sangtam and Secretaries Ester Bano and Mhalo Yanthan.

 

Phek district will be taken care of by Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton and General Secretary Eduzu Theluo, while Kiphire by Adivsor H Haiying and Vice President Tsasepi Sangtam, and Longleng by Advisor Dr. Longri Neken and Vice President Imsu Yanen.

 

Tuensang district will be under Advisor H Khehovi and Vice President Kuputo Shohe, Zunheboto & Pughoboto under Minister P Paiwang Konyak and Spokesman Huire Zeliang, and Mon under Minister Pangnyu Phom and Secretary Lima Onen Chang.

 

Minister Jacob Zhimomi and Secretary K Thong will be in-charge of Mokokchung district and Advisor Tovihoto Ayemi and General Secretary Jaangsillung Gongmei will take care of Wokha.
