Pughoboto, September 28 (MExN): BJP Mandal, Pughoboto today stated that it had not asked the NPF Central Youth Wing to answer to them, but had just asked whether the Youth Wing was applying the same yardsticks to other departments apart from Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) Department, where the latter had asked for termination of appointments made by one particular officer.
Reacting to NPF Central Youth Wing’s statement published on September 28, where the Youth Wing stated “there were various instances where officers make illegal and unauthorized appointments when they are on the verge of retirement,” the BJP questioned why the NPF Central Youth Wing had only sought for the termination of the appointment made by one officer only “when they have clearly stated various officers.”
Further, it refuted the “false allegation leveled against us that we are interested in protecting the illegal and corrupt means committed by the officers.” In this, the rejoinder asked the NPF Central Youth Wing to properly go through the BJP Mandal, Pughoboto’s previous writes-up where “we have clearly stated that we are also in support of their (NPF Youth Wing) initiative to check the illegal and corruption, but have asked why they were so interested to check only one particular period of one officer.”
With regard to NPF Youth Wing’s affirmation to continue to check illegal appointments made without the Government’s approval, the BJP Pughoboto lent its support and also requested them to specify at least one department where the Youth Wing has taken up the same issue.
