BJP Wokha unit inaugurates office

Wokha, August 27 (MExN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Wokha unit today inaugurated its office with Visasolie Lhoungu, President, BJP Nagaland as the chief guest.  

Expressing his interest in taking the state to a better level, he said, “The strength of any political party lies on the organization and so all differences should be put away and work with united effort in order to let developmental activities take place,” according to a press release received here.  

He pointed out that the BJP led NDA Government in the Centre is serious about all round development and accordingly activities in the recent past have been very apparent: “the GDP of 7.2% in 2014 has grown to 7.6% in 2015 to 2016, the BJP government also have taken top priority in solving the long standing political problem of the state in an amicable way, exercised zero tolerance on corruption at all levels or in any form, Clean India campaign, skill development, encouraged entrepreneurship to create more job opportunities for the youths.”  

He also congratulated the party workers of Wokha district for being able to set up the office and said it is a sign of achievement in taking the party to a higher level.  

Other members who spoke on the occasion were K. James Vizo, State Vice President and in-charge of Wokha district, Dr. TM Lotha, Advisor, Treasuries & Accounts and Relief & Rehabilitation. Rev. TN Ngullie, senior pastor in the AG ministries prayed for God’s presence in the function, which was chaired by Meribemo Kinghen, President, BJP Wokha.
