C-Edge college inaugurates auditorium, classrooms

The inauguration and dedication of the auditorium and 2nd Floor (Right Wing) classrooms of C-Edge College was held on January 22.


The lone Nagaland’s Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) KG Kenye graced the occasion and inaugurated the buildings as the Honoured Invitee.
A press release from the college informed that Kenye in his brief speech stressed on the importance of the Naga History.


He also encouraged the students not to forget one’s culture but appreciate “our ancestors as to retrospect our cultural identity,”


Be prepared for the future and utilise your talents as Nagas are multi-talented, the MP stressed.


Earlier in his welcome address by Er Moa Aier, the President of C-Edge College said that the college is proud to name the new Indoor Auditorium as “Goyiepre Kenye Auditorium” in honour of an illustrious Naga Pioneer. Rev Dr N Tzudir led the dedicatory blessings and prayer.


Dr Chubatola, the college principal also expressed gratitude to Kenye for funding the auditorium and the additional classrooms, a much-needed facility for the college.


The programme was compered by Lovika Nancy, Asst. Prof of Sociology while a special numbers was presented by the College Choi and Peuningle Zeliang.It concluded with benediction Inza, Asst, Prof.
