Zunheboto, February 8 (MExN): The Achipiu Mlahnni - Amikuccho Kikishe - Akütsü Mqo” (Mission Doing Right - Clean Election - Apex Core Implementation Committee) today informed that to enable all candidates to share their manifesto and objectives with the public, a Common Platform will be organised on February 15, 2018 by the respective unit CICs, at the respective constituency headquarters. A copy of the candidates’ manifesto and objectives shall be submitted to the apex CIC, informed a press release issued by Atokiho Sumi, President, SKK & Convenor, CIC and Dr. Vihuto Asumi, Co-Convenor, CIC.
The CIC also informed that Sümi Churches Associations will organise a chain of prayer till the polling day. Meanwhile, in compliance to the resolutions made during the meeting of Mission Doing Right - Clean Election - Apex Core Implementation Committee held on January 22, 2018 at SKK Ki, Zunheboto.
All Unit CICs are reminded to host white flag for Clean Election at every house who has pledged to be part of Clean Election.
All the villages, towns and constituency level CICs of Zunheboto District are directed to prepare their own ‘Action Plans’ as per local requirements, basing on Sumi Misshi xakütha and CIC Pimhezah passed at the general rally on April 12, 2017 at Zunheboto. For effective implementation of the ‘Action Plan’, respective CICs shall mobilize volunteers drawn from Sümi Totimi Hoho, local Students’ Unions and Church Youth, it added.
