United FC (Phek), Khriekesa FC Meriema, Zunheboto Range Students Union FC and Naga Terriers today won their respective matches on the second day of the Capt. N. Kenguruse Memorial Football Tournament (State Level) here.
United FC defeated Fountain Lad FC, Tuensang 3-1 in the first match at Kohima Local Ground.
Kozo opened the score for United FC in the 7th minute only for Fountain FC to draw level in the 15th minute through Lunso. Kozo broke the deadlock in the 55th minute scoring his and the team’s second goal. Sieketou increased the tally in the 60th minute.
In the second match, Khriekesa FC overpowered One-Ten FC, Wokha 4-1 riding on a hattrick from Khwetelhi Thopi. Thopi found the mark in the 38th, 72nd and 75th minute. Nzauhut scored the 4th in the 69th minute. Kwang scored for One-Ten FC in the 65th minute.
Naga Terriers blanked Tizit Tornado 5-0 in the third match played at Tsiese Basa.
Chingsha Phom scored thrice in the 9th, 46th and 63rd minute. T. Khampei and Medo Angami netted one each in the 58th and 76th minute, respectively.
Zunheboto Range Students Union (ZRSU) FC edged Victorious FC, Phek 3-2 in a thrilling game. Rito Zhimo, Tovito Shohe and Itoka Yeptho scored for ZRSU in the 33rd, 41st and 80th minute, respectively.
Kuveto Keyho and Kukhruba Keyho found the mark for Victorious FC in the 9th and 43rd minute, respectively.
