Dimapur, June 16 (MExN): Genius Career Guide, a unit of Dia Educational Foundation, Dimapur, is organising career counselling & motivational programme on June 18 at Hotel Acacia conference hall, Dimapur from 3:00 pm.
A press release informed that Genius Career Guide has been providing free career counselling to students with the motive of bringing awareness regarding higher education in different streams for past 12 years.
“The reason behind organising the event is to bring awareness among students so that they have clarity regarding the present education sector and to remove the mediators who manipulate the ignorance,” it added.
Speaker of the event will be Ranjan K Baruah, who has been providing career guidance and various trainings related to employability skills, life skills, strategic planning amongst students and young people from different parts of North East.
He has been writing articles related to careers in leading dailies published from different parts of North East, the release said. Considered as one of the best motivational speakers, he was awarded national youth award by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India in 2014 for his outstanding contribution towards the society, it was further informed.
The chief guest and special guest of the event will be Geoffrey Yaden and Marina Kiho respectively. Yaden is the Editor-in-Chief of Nagaland Post and Kiho is a youth icon and Miss Nagaland 2017.
