CCSU, department discuss GITI Tuensang issue

Tuensang, June 30 (MExN): In response to the press release of the Confederation of Chang Students’ Union (CCSU) regarding the “dissatisfactory performance” by the principal of Government Industrial Training Institute (GITI), Tuensang, the Department of Employment and Skill Development officials came to Tuensang and held a meeting with the CCSU on June 29 at the confederation’s conference hall.   The officials were Lotam Chang, Joint Director and Razo, Junior Engineer.   The meeting was followed by a visit to GITI, Tuensang. “After thorough inspection and learning multiple grievances of the Institution, the senior officials from the Directorate were persuaded that the Principal has to be replaced by a competent successor, so as to have improvement in the management of the Institution,” stated a press release from CCSU president, Chingmak Kumchuba and assistant general secretary, Bumat Chumi.   The CCSU further appealed to the department concerned to take up the matters discussed on top priority and bring about great help for the populace of Tuensang district.
