Kohima, January 24 (DIPR): Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland, J. Alam IAS will be the chief guest at the 1st National Voters’ Day celebration on January 25, 2011 at 12:00 noon at DC’s Conference Hall, Kohima. According to the programme, District Election Officer & Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, Bei-u Angami will chair the programme while the brief profile of elections will be presented by Deputy Chief Electoral Officer, N. Moa Aier. Welcome speech will be delivered by Assistant Electoral Officer, Kohima, Vekho Vero. The chief guest will present EPICs/Badges/prizes to new voters and winners of SMS Slogan competition and also administer NVD Pledge. Electoral Registration Officer & Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kohima Alun Hangsing will tender vote of thanks.
