Imphal, February 26 (MExN): Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Manipur has informed that Election Commission of India has in view of the election in Manipur directed that no political party or candidate or any other organization or person shall publish any advertisement in the print media on March 3 and 4, 2017 unless the contents of the advertisement proposed to be published got pre-certified by the political parties, candidates, etc from the Media Certification & Monitoring Committee (MCMC) at the State/ District Level, as the case may be. This information was released to the media by NG Uttam Singh, State Nodal Officer (Media/Communication), Chief Electoral Officer’s office, Manipur.
