Kohima, January 20 (DIPR): The Chief Electoral Officer Nagaland, Abhijit Sinha, IAS, in a circular, has informed that a meeting with the representatives of all the print and electronic medias in the state will be held at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima on January 22 at 11.00 AM with regard to the provision of section 127 A of the R.P Act 1951 instructions of ECI on advertisement and Paid News and the guideline issued by ECI, PCI and NBSA on media related matters concerning election.
The following Officials and persons are requested to attend the meeting – 1. Members of the State Level Media Certification and Monitoring Committee. 2. Members of the State Level Committee to entertain applications for certification for advertisement of political parties and candidates. 3. Station Directors, AIR/Doordarshan, Kohima. 4. Media & Communication Officer, PIB, Kohima. 5. Representatives from all local dailies/news channels.
