Chakhesang Public Organization appeal ‘The best armour at this hour is to stay at home and be safe’

The Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) today stated that as the world continue battling with the rising infection of COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, it is equally important that every individual need to take precautionary measures keeping in the mind with all the directive and advisory given by the both central & state govt and also taking into consideration the awareness campaign and guidelines of Do’s & Don’ts appearing in various social media platforms.

 

While appreciating various precautionary measures taken up by many villages in the form of resolutions and orders, the CPO requested the village authorities to be very cautious as they enforce them under their jurisdiction in order to avoid any counterproductive elements especially at the check gates.

 

They are to keep in close co-ordination with the concern govt. authorities for travel passage in state and national highways, the CPO stated.

 

The CPO extended its support to all frontline workers, to doctors & nurses, administrators and security personals and other agencies who are doing a yeomen job working round the clock.

 

Urges govt to provide adequate equipments

CPO urged the govt. to provide every adequate measure and necessary required equipments sufficiently to the frontline workers and person who are manning border check gates.

 

CPO appreciated the church bodies, other groups and individuals for helping the needy in cash and goods at this crucial juncture and also thanked the believers in Christ for their continuous prayer support.

 

CPO also acknowledged the legislators of Phek district for timely intervention to combat COVID-19 in donating essential equipments such as hand sanitizers, disinfectants, three layer masks etc. to all its health centres of all the constituencies.
