PHEK, April 1 (MExN): The Chakhesang Youth Front (CYF) on Wednesday appealed to the Government of Nagaland to provide the essential medical equipments to all the Health Centers in Phek District at the earliest.
In a press release, CYF President Lhuvesayi Lohe also reached out to various sections of the community, the government departments and medical personnel and appealed for cooperation towards the rules laid by the concerned authorities in the district.
The CYF while appreciating the efforts of the medical personnel, also appealed all the medical staff to be present 24x7 in their respective postings to provide necessary services to the general public in this crucial period.
Further, it urged the concerned department to provide essential commodities to the poor people according to the provisions of the Government in the district during this period of lockdown.
During this period of lockdown the general public is reminded to sternly follow the ban orders of the Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO) with respect to hunting. The respective Youth Presidents and colleagues are informed to check this activity in their respective areas, the press release stated.
The general public must strictly adhere to the precautionary measures provided by the Medical Department and the Government, it said as it appealed the public to remain calm and be responsible citizens by abiding in all the guidelines put in place by the government.
Meanwhile, the CYF also acknowledged the District administration, Police personnel, health workers, NGOs, political leaders, Churches, and individuals for rendering their services and safeguarding our people physically, morally, materially, financially and prayerfully during this time of turmoil.
