Kohima, June 9 (MExN): The 4th edition of Nagaland Street Fitness sponsored by Dream Cafe was held on June 9 at the Heritage Circle, Raj Bhavan, Kohima with fitness enthusiasts from all over Nagaland taking part to win the titles for Arm Wrestling, Running Race, Push-ups and Tug of War.
Chelo Kapfo from Pfutsero became the third time undisputed ‘Strongest Arm in Nagaland’ by winning the men’s arm wrestling while Tali Pongen, winner of Mokokchung arm wrestling became the vice-champion. Chuba Ao of Life Fitness won the female arm wrestling bout against vice-champion Ketosenuo Thami.
Vekote Koza (Flex Appeal) became the Push-ups champion with a record of 91 pushups in one minute while Melevo Rose (Flex Appeal) finished as the vice-champion with 84 pushups. Tsuchoi broke the female record with 60 pushups in one minute and also won the running race while Songmo became the vice champion with 59 pushups. P. Pheniang Khiamniungan became the champion of the men’s running race while Deve Ruho came out as the vice-champion.
The Gym Vs Gym Tug-of-War competition was won by Chisel Body Works Gym. The best aesthetics physique went to Melevo Rose (Flex Appeal gym) and Roko (Life Fitness Gym).
