CHILDLINE Advisory Board discusses various agenda

• Appointment of rescue team

• ‘Child Friendly School’ campaign

• Creation of child protection database etc

Dimapur, April 23 (MExN): The District CHILDLINE Advisory Board Dimapur held its official meeting on April 23 at Deputy Commissioner’s conference hall, Dimapur. It was chaired by Sara S Jamir, ADC Dimapur.  

Some of the agendas discussed in the meeting included appointment of rescue team under District Task Force on Child Labour, initiating ‘Child Friendly School’ campaign and recognition by Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, creation of child protection database by CHILDLINE in collaboration with Dimapur Police, incorporation of CHILDLINE weblink and Komal film on child sexual abuse on Dimapur district official website, and conducting medical camps in vulnerable areas for children in collaboration with Chief Medical Officer, Dimapur.  

The house also deliberated on the role of different departments and stakeholders for implementation of various initiatives and programmes in collaboration with CHILDLINE Dimapur.
