Dimapur, January 13 (MExN): CHILDLINE Dimapur today informed that a 9-year-old girl named Alovi has been under its care since September 10, 2017. A concerned adult had reported the matter when the child was seen wandering alone in Burma Camp, Dimapur, said a press release from CHILDLINE Dimapur.
According to the girl, she was staying with one Naga family but left the place in search of her mother who was staying in Burma Camp, the release added. However, upon reaching the locality she found out that the house where her mother lived as a tenant was demolished. She asked around for her mother but no one could help her, it stated.
The child is currently placed in a Shelter Home as per the directives from Child Welfare Committee (CWC) Dimapur.
