Mokokchung, September 7 (MExN): The Chuchuyimlang Baptist Church, Mokokchung organized a Teachers’ Day programme for all the educational institutes from Chuchuyimlang Village and Chuchuyimlang Town. Altogether eight schools and institutions participated in the event, with about a hundred teachers, including pensioners attending the programme.

He shared with the gathering on the importance of respecting one’s teachers, which he said is deeply imbedded in the Indian Culture. The Gandhian also challenged the gathering to strive for a harmonious and meaningful life while living on this earth, which was as important as striving for salvation in heaven.
