CK Nayudu U-23 Trophy: Odisha beat Nagaland by nine wickets

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 16 (MExN): Odisha defeated Nagaland by 9 wickets in their Under-23 Col CK Nayudu Trophy held at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium in Sovima. 

Nagaland, having being put into bat first, scored 193 runs before being bowled out in 56.2 overs in their first innings. 

Despite the small first innings total, Nagaland displayed an impressive bowling performance, cleaning out Odisha for just 138 runs in 56.5 overs during their first innings. 

However, Nagaland poor form with the bat continued as the hosts were again bowled out for a low 127 runs in 47.3 overs in their second innings.

Odisha, in their second innings improved their batting performance as they managed to reach the target, scoring 185 runs losing just 1 wicket in 51.2 overs.
