CM and Deputy CM extend Khaozaosie-Hok-Ah greetings

Dimapur, January 19 (MExN): Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton have extended greetings to the Khiamniungan community on the occasion of their premier festival Khaozaosie-Hok-Ah. “My sincere wishes for happiness, peace and harmony among all sections of people and abundance of blessings in all aspects of life. #Nagaland #LandOfFestivals,” Rio tweeted in his official twitter account.


Deputy CM & Leader, BJP Legislature Party (BLP) Y Patton in his greetings described the Khiamniungans as a brave and vibrant tribe which is depicted well in their war dances. The Deputy CM in a message issued by Media Cell, Deputy CMO, appealed the community to celebrate the festival in the spirit of reconciliation and to “strive for peace and unity in our land.” On behalf of the BJP legislators, Patton wished them “a very happy and successful Khaozaosie-Hok-Ah.”
