Zunheboto, October 17 (MExN): National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme (NVBDCP) under Chief Medical Officer’s (CMO) office, Zunheboto held its monthly review meeting at the office premises on October 17.
In his keynote address, Dr. G. Hokishe Sema, CMO, Zunheboto exhorted the staffs to be regular and sincere in their duties. He also emphasized on the importance of timely report submission for onward submission to the directorate, informed a press release from Shekho Sophie, District Media Officer, CMO office, Zunheboto. The CMO further encouraged the health staffs to know one’s own responsibilities and to keep proper track of all the malaria related cases. Dr. Hokishe also motivated the workers to work hand in hand with the MOs, ANMs, ASHAs and the communities and give hand holding support.
Dr. Alemwabang Aier, DPO (RCH & UIP) briefed about the monthly reporting formats. He also stressed on the importance of monitoring and supervising at the grassroots level.
Attended by CMO, DPO (RCH & UIP), MI, Consultant, MTS, SWs and subordinate staffs, the meeting was chaired by Hekuto, MI.
