Dimapur, January 20 (DIPR): Consequent upon the announcement of general election to the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2018, Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer of Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel (IAS) has in an order constituted a Committee comprising of the following officers with immediate effect till the completion of the election: PD, DRDA Dimapur (Chairman) - 9436008449/8575428449; Rahul Mali, IAS (Nodal officer for EEM) Convenor – 9284488068; District Treasury Officer, Dimapur (Member) – 8974344929.
The Committee shall suo-motu examine case of seizure made by police, SST& FST and also look into matters of FIR/case registered against the seizure. They shall also find out whether the seizure links with any party/ candidate and the same shall be informed to the Expenditure Observer and DC&DEO. All information pertaining to release of cash shall be maintained by Nodal Officer EEM (Election Expenditure Monitoring). If the release of the cash is more than Rs.10 lakh it has to be informed to the Income Tax authority, the order stated.
