DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 22 (MExN): Mizoram led Nagaland by 49 runs on day one of their test match at the Cooch Behar Trophy at Sesa Stadium, Kharagpur.
Mizoram were bowled out for 179 in 64.5 overs, Aurkapratim being the highest run scorer with 91 runs.
Ram Jangir, Arjun and Ranjan grabbed a couple of wickets each for Nagaland.
In Nagaland’s first innings, the team was bowled out for 164 runs in 92.4 overs. Afzal was Nagaland’s highest scorer with 70 runs, followed by Vipul with 31 runs. Priyansh from Nagaland came out with a haul of 7 wickets.
Mizoram, in their second innings meanwhile ended the day with 24 runs losing 1 wicket in 22 overs.
