DIMAPUR, MARCH 29 (MExN): The Dimapur District GB's Association (DDGBA) while appreciating the central and state administrations for taking strong measures to stop and mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic has appealed to all responsible GBs under respective villages, wards and colonies to assist the police, administration or medical teams as and when their services are required.
A press release from the DDGBA president and general secretary said that the COVID-19 pandemic has “now become a collective responsibility and each of us has huge roles to play and contribute, and most importantly, these are testing times for GBs to show our solidarity during such crisis and to attend to the needs and service of the public rather than shying away from responsibilities.”
It meanwhile appealed to the public not to panic from rumours, and asked everyone to stay indoors. By doing this you are helping others by helping yourselves, it added.
