Kohima, February 3 (MExN): The Council of Rengma Baptist Churches (CRBC) held its 68th Annual Meeting at K Station Baptist Church from January 25-27 where its 42 constituent member churches and a fellowship member committed before God by adopting certain resolutions under the theme: Let us rebuild-word and prayer. The churches under CRBC submitted to draw closer to God through the reading of the Holy Bible and to place their petitions and supplication through prayers in homes and churches.
It committed to promote oneness and unity in Christ as individuals and churches through forgiveness and repentance to restore brokenness in homes, churches and society through the word of God.
It also resolved not to endorse same sex marriage which is an abomination before God.
Furthermore, the Council acknowledged all the church leaders for the support and co-operation towards CRBC ministry. CRBC in a press release also extended its gratitude to K Station Baptist Church for successfully hosting the 68th Annual Meeting.
