CTAN, CEAN protest today, PSAN extends support

DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 15 (MExN): The Public Service Aspirants of Nagaland (PSAN) has extended its “physical and moral support” to the proposed sit-in protest by CTAN & CEAN on December 16 against the alleged “illegal appointments” made in the Nagaland Public Works Department (PWD).

A press release from the PSAN Convener, Mughaka Jakhalu demanded that the NPWD cancel all the alleged illegal appointments and advertise the said posts for open recruitment.

In addition, the PSAN reminded all the departments under the Government of Nagaland to immediately requisition all vacancies of posts falling under its purview to the NPSC. “Till date, only 45 posts have been requisitioned for the 2019-20 examination, which is alarming, as more than ten thousand aspirants will be forced to compete for the said number of posts,” it said.
