Kohima, August 24 (MExN): The Chakesang Youth Front (CYF) and Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) have condoled the demise of Mudovoyo Vero, former President of CYF.
The CYF in a condolence message issued by its President Lhuvesayi Lohe and General Secretary, Medovelo Sono has conveyed shock and sadness over the sudden and untimely demise of Late Vero.
The CYF stated that Late Vero was a man of integrity, determination, honesty, bravery and intellectual, who was always available to stand for the youth in particular and the Chakhesang community in general. It also stated that Vero had served the Chakhesang community in his different capacities, as the President of Chokri Area Games and Sports Association; President Phek District Sports Association; Finance Secretary; General Secretary and President for two tenures of the CYF.
“His dedication, concern and contribution towards the Chakhesang community will be cherished deep in our hearts forever. His demise has left a vacuum in our community which will not be filled by any other personality,” it said.
The CYF further expressed their sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed to God to grant solace and comfort in this time of grief and sorrow and also prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
Meanwhile, the CPO also mourned the sudden demise of Vero.
“His contribution and stewardship during his president ship of CYF will be always appreciated and cherished for defending the interest of the Chakhesang community at various situations,” the CPO said in a condolence message.
The Organization further prayed to God to grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
