CYF informs on banned activities in its jurisdiction

Phek, April 10 (MExN): The Chakhesang Youth Front (CYF) conducted a surprise checking on the April 5 and 6 in all the Chakhesang inhabited areas of Phek District to check the various activities banned by the CPO: fishing, hunting, burning of forests, and collection of medicinal plants and illegal import of pigs. The CYF had also resolved to ban the use of Air guns in its jurisdiction; defaulters will be fined with a sum of Rs. 5000.

The CYF had accepted the apology letter from the NPF 17th Chizami Assembly Constituency dated March 29 for their violation of the ban order in fishing and hunting which was printed in their office bearers meeting held from March 21 to 23 at Sarula River, as they had cancelled that activity, which was verified by the youth and village council of Sumi village. This was informed in a press release issued by Lhuvesayi Lohe and Medovelo Sono, President and Secretary of CYF respectively.

It further mentioned that the 11th general conference of CYF will be held on December 12 and 13 at Bade Village Dimapur and all the subordinate youth bodies have been requested to be prepared for the same.
