DAN, St Xavier College organise Health care camps across Jalukie

One of the health care camps being conducted in Jalukie. 
 

 

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 17 (MExN): Health Care sessions and Medical camps were organized across Jalukie in St Xavier College, Jalukie, Adovasi Colony, Samzuiram and B Jalukie on November 15 and 16. 


The two- day program was held under the aegis of Development Association of Nagaland (DAN), Dimapur and assisted by Holy Redeemer Health Centre, Chumukedima. St. Xavier College, Jalukie together with its students and Alumni organized the events. 


Dr. Renthunglo Lotha and Dr. Sr. Rosemary Yanthan along with Sr. Trassy and Mdm. Syreline rendered their valuable service in attending to the needy in the college and camps. The instructional sessions for the college students were held at college premises for a day addressing the important issues concerning students’ age, physique and living conditions. The students’ were taught on various health concerns to help themselves and those around them. 


“Given the age and maturity of the students they should be agents of progressive growth and sustainable health for individuals, families and society at large,” opined Rev. Fr. Charles, program officer. In a formal program, Dr. Fr. Francis Cheerangal, Principal of the college welcomed and appreciated the generous efforts and helping hands of the individuals and the groups in facilitating the program. 


Xavierites - alumni and students- Village Council, Samzuiram and Catholic community in B Jalukie facilitated the program in their respective places and assisted the health-consultation and dispensing of medicines to the needy.
