Peren, September 22 (MExN): The District AIDS Prevention & Control Unit (DAPCU), Peren in collaboration with District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) Peren held a District Consultation and follow up meeting on Stigma and Discrimination, CABA Uptake, Social and Legal Protection Schemes.
The meeting was held at CHC Jalukie Conference hall on September 22. The meeting was attended by PLHIV’s and CHC staff. Asungbe Retainer Lawyer, Legal cum Probation Officer ICPS Peren spoke on the role of Legal Service authority, Child Protection and Child Rights.
Later, Enchang, Panel Lawyer spoke on the topic HIV & AIDS Prevention and Control Act 2017.
Asuni, Panel Lawyer shared on various Social benefit schemes for PLHIV and how to avail the benefits from various line department.
An interaction hour was consecutively held were questions on how to avail social benefit schemes from various departments were raised.
Earlier the program was chaired by Pauheugau, Program Assistant, DAPCU and Rovikhoto Mor, DPO, DAPCU delivered the welcome address. Vote of thanks was given by Wikambo President DLN.
