Day 3 of Hornbill Fest registers 42,544 visitors

Visitors to the ongoing Hornbill Festival of Nagaland at Naga Heritage Village Kisama significantly increased on Sunday as the third day registered a total of 42,544 visitors.  

Out of this, 314 consist of foreign tourist, 4622 domestic tourists and 37,608 local visitors from Nagaland, according to tourist officer Toka E. Tuccumi, statistical-in-charge.  

With this, the Hornbill Festival in three days has registered 73, 090 visitors.  

The first and second day registered 12, 200 and 18,346 visitors respectively.  

Day four (December 4) will be marked by Hornbill Angling festival 2017 at Chubi Bridge, Doyang, Pangti village, 11th International Hornbill Naga Wrestling Championship 2017 at Kisama, Kohima Downhill Mountain Bike Race flag off at Viswema village, Naga Chef- Invention round in Kisama, 6th Hornbill Riders’ meet- cultural exhibition and games of Zeliang tribe at Shalom Resort Gaili, folk tune competition at Kisama, live music featuring Divine Connection, Abiogenesis, DGP band, Mengu Suokhrie, Mezanuo Ngukha and Moka Koza at RCEMPA, Jotsoma, Hornbill International Music Festival, Dimapur, Hornbill Night Carnival Kohima, "Culturally Yours," among others.
