Dimapur, December 19 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner Dimapur has informed landowners and beneficiaries affected due to the shifting and relocation of 132 Kv Tower Line along NH-29 under Dimapur district that the compensation to the affected land owners shall be paid in the office of the DC Dimapur on January 9 from 10:00 am onwards under the following villages: New Chumukedima, Kukidolong, Medziphema, Tseiphema, Pherima, Piphema.
The DC in a press release directed the Chairman/Head GB and members of the concerned village councils to be present in person for identification of landowner and beneficiaries during the disbursal of the compensation failing which payment will be withheld.
The DC also directed all the affected landowners and beneficiaries to come “in person” along with identity proof and 5 copies of passport-sized photos. Payment to any other representative other than the concerned person shall not be entertained, the DC added.
