The Rengma Region NNC/FGN held a meeting on the 3rd of Nov. 2017 at Tseminyu town and reaffirmed its stand on the Rengma Naga Region Territory- that as framed in the NNC/FGN Yehzabo Part-1 Article 7, where the British Govt. (UK) in consultation with the Rengma Naga and the Ahom (Assam) people demarcated the Rengma Naga territory on the 18th of April 1841 and as declared to the world in the world map, the Region will not tolerate any outsiders/foreigners meddling in the affairs of its territory as demarcated in 1841 nor recede an iota of its land to any whatsoever. The Region further invalidated the legitimacy of the GOI Election in Nagalim as forceful subjugation and derogatory to its national health.
Below are the resolutions adopted in the meeting: –
- The territory of the Rengma Naga Hills as recognised in the 9 Points Hyder Ali Agreement signed between Govt. of India (GOI) and Naga National Council (NNC) on the recommendation of Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the Indian Nation, in 1946 in terms with the demarcation made by the British Govt. (UK) will not be subjected to be meddled in its affairs from any neighbouring Indian State/s or nation/s within its boundary as infringed in the NNC/FGN Yehzabo and adopted in the Plebiscite of the Naga people.
- The Rengma Region NNC/FGN, as framed in the NNC/FGN Yehzabo Part-1 Article 7 and in lines with the demarcation made by the British Govt. (UK), will not recede an iota of its land to any state/nation whatsoever as infringed in the NNC/FGN Yehzabo and as adopted in the Plebiscite of the Naga people.
- The Rengma Region NNC/FGN appeals to all the Naga people in general to be wary of the Indian Govt.’s political carnage against the Nagas- that Nagalim was never a part of any nation apart from itself justified by our unique history, cultural/traditional, political and natural birth right endowed to us by God- that the Naga people under the directive of the first Republic Govt. of India’s parliament in 1951 established its position as a Nation when the Nagas witnessed a 99.99 % positive participation in the Plebiscite of 16th of May 1951 against the forceful subjugation of the Indian Govt. and until the declaration of the International Ceasefire Agreement between Govt. of India and Federal Govt. of Nagaland on the 6th of Sept. 1964, the Naga people under NNC/FGN have wilfully shunned the forceful political subjugation (Election) of the Indian Govt. Till date the NNC/FGN had not lost an iota of its land nor compromised it to the Indian Govt. in the struggle for independence. The Naga people must forsake the fallacy of India’s social, political and economic blunder against the Nagas and embrace the true spirit of Nationalism beneath the sacred emblem of God’s given six headed trinity stars and the symbol of peace (rainbow) flag within the NNC/FGN Yehzabo as prophesized to us, Nagas, through His words- Mathew 22: 37-40 and John 13:12-15 and thus elect Clean Leaders through Clean Election in harbouring Naga National development and the Naga people’s progress and in the same-while maintaining peace and cordial relation with the neighbouring states and nations.
