DEF Kohima seize assorted IMFL

Kohima, March 12 (MExN): The District Intelligence Branch of DEF Kohima recovered assorted IMFL from a Maruti Van bearing registration number NL-01-3236, Chassis No. – ST91IN190571, Engine No. – F8BIN1450690 on March 12 around 1:30 pm at Kidima junction.   The liquor comprised 24 bottles (750 ml) of Officers Choice Clue, 24 bottles (750 ml) of MC Rum, 12 bottles (375 ml) of Officers Choice Blue, 144 bottles (180 ml) of Officers Choice Blue, 96 bottles (180 ml) of MC Whisky, and 144 cans (500 ml) of Kingfisher beer, a press release from PRO, Kohima Police informed.

  In this connection, one person identified as KP Souo Solomon (21) was apprehended and taken into police custody on the charge of illegal possession and transporting banned IMFL.   Meanwhile, a regular case vide Khuzama P.S Case No. 009/2016 U/S 44 (a) NLTP Act was registered against him and he is remanded into police custody for conducting further investigation.
