Kohima, September 5 (MExN): A coordinating conference for Capt Neikezhakuo Kenguruse Memorial Football Tournament was held at Chieswema by 9 Assam Rifles on September 5 which was attended by the Coach/Managers of participating teams. The tournament is scheduled to be held at Kohima from September 13 to 21. All representatives were briefed by the Commandant 9 Assam Rifles Col Rajat Tyagi and CMO Dr C Satyarajan about the bye laws for conduct of the tournament, prize money, awards and administrative details including food & lodging for the teams. The briefing was followed by draw of lots wherein 24 teams from across the state were divided in four pools. The tournament will be played on knock out basis. The opening match of the tournament will be played between defending champions Naga FC and Naomei FC at Kohima Local Ground on September 13.
