Delhi Public School wins Inter-School Choir Competition

Delhi Public School receiving the award for winning the 1st Inter-School Choir Competition organised by Hollotoli School on August 23.

 

With the aim to showcase and celebrate the vibrant culture and heritage of India, Hollotoli School observed the annual ‘Heritage Week’ from August 22 to 24.


On August 22, the Heritage Club conducted a special assembly featuring a ramp walk showcasing the nation’s diversity and folk dance by the senior boys. 


Hollotoli School organised its 1st Inter-School Choir Competition on August 23. Delhi Public School (DPS), Dimapur was declared winner of the competition followed by Hope Academy and Hollotoli School in 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. The participating schools for the competition were DPS, Hope Academy School, Hollotoli School and Livingstone Foundation Higher International.


Judges of the competition were Dr. Limawati Pongen, Tali Angh and Jano Nyekha.


The 3rd Inter-School Quiz Competition, ‘Quizzomania’ 2019 marked the end of the Heritage week. Seven schools across Dimapur including the host school participated in the competition. The running trophy for the winner was won by Hollotoli School followed by DPS as the first runners up and Pranab Vidyapith as the second runners up.
