Dimapur, May 20 (MExN): A method demonstration on ‘Entrepreneurship development through mushroom cultivation’ was conducted at Sangtamtilla village on May 20, funded by NABARD and in collaboration with the ‘Innovative Attribute Society’, Sangtamtilla. During the training, Dr. Rajesha G, Scientist (Plant Pathology), ICAR Research Complex NEH Region, Nagaland Centre Medziphema explained about the importance of mushroom in human diet and its nutritional and medicinal properties followed by the method demonstration of oyster mushroom cultivation, informed a press release. A total of 34 farm labours including 26 women from different villages of Dimapur district attended the training. 30 spawn packets, 20 hand sprayers and water drum were distributed to the participants under TSP to take up mushroom cultivation.
