DFL: State Boys Hostel wins, Tribals United & Fugu FC draw

DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 14 (MExN): State Boys Hostel beat Tribal Hustlers 6-0, while Tribals United and Fugu FC played out a 3-3 draw at the ongoing Dimapur Football League on September 14. 

In the first match, the goals for State Boys Hostel were scored by Kakhevi, Chaba, Hitova, Kivi, Lima and Tingnyek at 18th, 20th, 24th, 38th, 71st and 72nd minutes respectively.

In the second match played the goal scorers for Fugu FC were Lobo and Benri while Meren, George and Meyi Akum scored for Tribals United. 

Meanwhile, a press release from the organizers pointed out certain players to watch out for at this point in the league. 

Zumzum of Spartan FC with 8 goals is leading the score sheet. Other players include Kakhevi Assumi of State Boys Hostel, the man of the tournament and the highest scorer of Dimapur Football League season 1. Kivi Zhimo of State Boys Hostel, the only Naga player to be in the ISL team (Northeast United) is in good form as well. 

Kimiyeto Swu the captain of Aphuyemi FC with four goals and Tingenyek Konyak of State Boys Hostel, have also been impressive. 

Others to look out for include Ritso of SM college, the reigning highest scorer of Dr. T. Ao inter district tournament; Inonito Zhimo of Aphuyemi FC who has done football coaching from Argentina; and Patrick Brexten of Tribal Hustlers FC from Brazil, who is making great impact on and off field with his experience.
