DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 10 (MExN): SM College and One Ten FC played out a 2-2 draw while Tribal Hustlers FC beat Fugu FC 3-0 at the ongoing Dimapur Football League (DFL) on September 10.

 

A press release from the organisers informed that during the first match, the first two goals came from One Ten in the first half from the boots of Mantho at the 13th minute followed by Zachamo at the 29th minute.

 

SM College however managed to draw level with goals from Rhitsho in the 65th minute followed by Kakai in the 68th minute.

 

In the second match, the scorers for Tribal Hustlers were Yaviholi, Keneinguze and Lulenyuba.

 

The match patron for the day was Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) President, Sedevilie Angami. Addressing the gathering, Sedevilie said the DNSU is concerned about the upcoming talents in various sports activities but rued the lack of infrastructure in the state to harness and promote young talents.

 

He appealed the concerned authority and state government to emphasize on creating needed sports infrastructure and urged the state government towards early completion of the state stadium at Dimapur. The DNSU President further lauded Naga United FC for organizing the DFL and providing a platform for young players to showcase their talents.
