Mon, October 17 (MExN): The District Health Society (DHS) of Mon completed its first round of Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) campaign on October 16. The district has vaccinated 1051 left out and missed children as per report compiled from all the IMI blocks, according to a press release.
The mission followed the micro plan and the communication plan designed by the District Programme Management Unit (DPMU). The most effective tool for IMI was the head counting of the children below 2 years of age in all villages, which was completed with the help of the adolescent club, KBCM youth, ASHAs and the anganwadi workers, the release stated.
The District Health Society Mon is preparing for the next round of IMI which will be held from November 7 to 13.
