Dimapur DHS bids farewell to outgoing officers

Dimapur, October 13 (MExN): The Dimapur District Health Society (DHS) bade farewell to outgoing officers Dr K Vikato Kinimi, Chief Medical Officer Dimapur and Kunu Angami, Deputy Mass Education & Information Officer (MEIO) at Green Park, Dimapur.

Outgoing Officer CMO Dimapur, Dr Kinimi said that during his tenure, he could bring a lot of changes and improvements due to the support and co-operation of the medical officers and all the medical staff, a press release received here stated.

He also urged the medical staff to continue working tirelessly for the public and extend the same support and co-operation to the new CMO. 

Deputy MEIO, Angami who retired from service in the month of September stated that she has been posted at CMO Dimapur for the last six years and has always sought to ensure that she discharged her duties to the best of her abilities.

Angami also thanked the CMO and all the staff for their constant encouragement and providing a guiding hand whenever needed.

Dr Antoly Suu, Deputy CMO acknowledged both the outgoing officers for rendering their valuable services to the people and also appreciated their diligence towards their duties.

Dr Suu also informed them that the office of CMO Dimapur will always be open to them, that they will be always be considered as part to the CMO‘s Office family.

Other Officers who delivered short speeches during the function were Dr Kheshito Zhimo, Dr Kavito, Dr Carolyn, Dr C Tetseo, Dr Kheshika and Apan.

The function was chaired by Dr Imtiwabong, DVBO, NVBDCP Dimapur and the function was attended by staff under CMO Dimapur and MS DHD.

Dr T Panjung Sangtam has joined and taken charge as the new Chief Medical Officer, Dimapur since October 9, the release added.
