DGP, Prisons & Home Guards O. Alem is seen alongwith the winners and runners-up of the Dimapur District Invitational Veterans Badminton Tournament which concluded on Friday, February 18. The tournament organised by the Dimapur District Badminton Association (DDBA) was hosted at the DDBA Indoor Stadium, United Colony (formerly Half Nagarjan) under Ward 21. Arep & Amardeep (Kohima) emerged champions in the in the Sub Veterans (35-plus) category defeating Wati & Haidingsap (Dimapur). The same players emerged winners in the veterans’ category (45-plus) defeating Y Sema & Angam Shaiza (Dimapur). In the super veterans category (55-plus) Dr. W. Wungpam & Wunganing (Manipur) defeated C. Tinu Pongen & K. Therie (Dimapur) in the finals.
