DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 19 (MExN): Dimapur Police have arrested six persons in connection with the death of one person in Chümoukedmia on September 19. A press release from the PRO, Dimapur Police informed that on Tuesday, upon receiving information that one thief identified as Ikamul Hussain (20 years) was being detained by the youth of Ward No 11, Chümoukedima at their Panchayat Hall, the personnel of Chüumukedima Police Station rushed to the spot whereby they “found the victim in an unconscious state.” “The victim was immediately rushed to District Hospital Dimapur for medical treatment.
However the doctor declared him brought dead,” the police informed. The Dimapur Police identified the arrested persons as Mhasisetuo Thepa, Kenelelie Chalie, Lhousevilie Doze, Job Venuh, Kekhrieselie Liezetsu and Nirmal Saikia. A case has been registered under relevant sections of law and investigation is on, it added.
