Dimapur, January 25 (MExN): Along with the rest of the country, Dimapur Railway Netaji Colony under the aegis of Netaji Subash Kala Kendra celebrated the 123rd Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose.
Observed annually, the programme began with the National Flag hoisting by Dimapur Railway Station Superintendent, NF Railway/DMV Sumendra Mazumder, along with other dignitaries and members of NSKK. The highlights included lighting of the 123rd birthday candle along with various slogans and patriotic songs delivered by students, said a press release from Convener, Netaji Subash Kala Kendra, Sushanta Bhattacharjee.
Dignitaries also delivered short speeches about life and the times of Netaji Subash Bose, reflecting that the time has come to unite, specially for the youth to follow the path of Netaji and be honest, dedicated, fearlessness, brave, self confident in performing and not to forget the rich culture and tradition of our motherland.
