Dimapur, December 16 (MExN): The Dimapur Sumi Totimi Hoho (DSTH) celebrated its second annual conference on December 16 at Sumi Council Hiyam with the theme ‘The responsibilities of women in our society’. Chief Guest Akashe Zhimo spoke on how women can be a change agent in the society as they have a major role to play, said a press release from DSTH general secretary, Holi V Chophy. He encouraged women to move ahead by encouraging each other. The importance of “our” culture and tradition was also spoken on, the release added. Cultural performances were presented by ten colonies during the programme, which was also attended by Sumi Council, GBs, council members from all twelve colonies. There were more than 300 attendees.
