Dimapur, September 2 (MExN): Garo Students' Union Dimapur Town Unit, which will function under the supervision and guidance of Garo Students' Union Nagaland Zone (Central Committee) as a constituent body, has been formed.
The unit was formed at a meeting of Garo Students' Union Nagaland Zone (GSUNZ) with Garo students and youths residing in Dimapur Town area held on August 30 at the residence of Imsusenla Marak at Indisen village, Dimapur. The unit will be headed by Imsusenla Marak as president, Sema Sangma as general secretary, and Ezekial Sangma as treasurer, informed a press release from Cliff Sangma, president GSUNZ.
At the meeting, Cliff Sangma, president GSUNZ encouraged the Garo youths residing within Dimapur Town area to be hard working and responsible for achieving the union’s goal. He also urged the youths to do away with corruption and antisocial activities. Meanwhile, he congratulated the Garo Students' Union Dimapur Town Unit on its formation and encouraged them to work with unity.
