Director I&PR inspects DPRO office Longleng

Longleng, November 4 (DIPR): The Director Information & Public Relations, Nagaland Limawati visited the DPRO office Longleng on November 4, inspected the office and interacted with the officer and staffs.  

The Director pointed out that the officer alone cannot change the whole scenario of the office without the cooperation and support of the fellow staffs and urged the officials to extend full cooperation and support to the controlling officer. He asserted that the performance of the officials are know through the news reporting and appealed to the field officials to be active in reporting the activities of the Government to the people.  

Lamenting that Nagas are not serious about their duties and responsibility after appointment, he asserted that Government employees are highly paid by the Government to discharge their duties for the welfare of the people.  

Acknowledging the grievances of the office he assured to provide all basic amenities. However, he informed that preference will be given to those offices where the officers and staffs are performing their duties with dedication. The director also spoke on the roles and responsibility of the staffs and service rules and regulations for promotion and upgardation.  

DPRO Longleng, S. Hongpi Konyak highlighted the grievances of the office and shortage of manpower in technical and field staff in the district. and apprised the director for urgent posting or appointment of one Information Assistant in Tamlu ADC HQ.
