Kohima, July 2 (MExN): In observation of DISHA Week from June 25 to 29, the Kohima District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting was held on June 28 at the Deputy Commissioner’s conference hall here.
It was chaired by Rajesh Soundararajan, Deputy Commissioner and Member Secretary (DISHA) and co-chaired by Alemla J Chishi, Project Director, DRDA.
In the opening remark, the Deputy Commissioner highlighted about the State level DISHA meeting held on June 25 and stressed on the 41 Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) implemented in the district.
Various departments, including the DRDA, Medical, Education, Agriculture, PWD (R&B), I&FC, F&CS, Power, Urban Development, S&WC, Social Welfare, highlighted their activities and presented the physical and financial achievement reports for the FY 2017-18 and 2018-19, informed a press release from the chair and co-chair of the meeting.
In the concluding remark, the DC and Member Secretary, DISHA requested all the members to be more sincere and dedicated towards the implementation of all the flagship programmes in the district.
