Kiphire, November 2 (MExN): As per Government directives, District Health Society, Kiphire held a District Task Force (DTF) meeting which was chaired by Sedevikho Khro, Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire and attended by allied departments at DC office, Kiphire on November 2.
The achievement of the first round of Intensified Mission Indradhanush in the district was presented wherein 212 children were immunized from 32 session sites. The session sites were meticulously selected in hard to reach areas where there are no health centres. The target beneficiaries are 0-2 years and pregnant mothers.
Tsiatsüvi, DPO, NSACS also requested district initiative for HIV/AIDS awareness at the village level and also sought support from allied departments for infected and affected families.
Expressing his concern about the rate of HIV increase in the district, Sedevikho Khro stated that it concerns not only the medical department but every individual and urged everyone to spread awareness in their own way.

Tsangkhuchu (CDPO,Social Welfare Department), Kipitong (SIS,Education department), L. Meshu (SS, NST), T.L Kheontsumong (DIS), Tsiatsüvi (DPO), Medonguno M Chasie (DMO) and K Supangmong (Asst. Professor).
