Kohima, January 21 (MExN): Review meeting of CMOs and MS of all districts was held at Conference Hall, Directorate of Health & Family Welfare on January 21.
A press release stated here that Dr Vizolie Z Suokhrie, Principal Director, DH&FW ascertained that “it is the right time to come together and move forward.” He expressed hopes that through this meeting, the district wise issues will be highlighted and works out to remedy the existing issues.
The Principal Director stated that he particularly look forward to know the challenges faced in the districts like manpower issues and infrastructural gaps and need suggestions for improvement so as to improve the quality of service delivery.
Dr Kevichusa Medikhru, Mission Director NHM stated that the meeting is held with a difference and encouraged all the officials to attend with determination for improvement.
The district CMOs and MS gave presentations based on key performance indicator, maternal and child health care and the performance of all vertical programmes under the department. The District officers also highlighted the shortcomings and based suggestions as per the district needs.
The meeting was attended by all officers from the directorate along with district CMOs and MS.
