Dimapur, January 15 (MExN): Dimapur Nkonjan Nyiro Range Ekhung (DNNRE) has expressed shock and dismay over the killing of a woman by her husband at Supply Colony, Dimapur on January 10 and condemned the same. Terming the incident “horrific”, DNNRE in a press note from its chairman, Chiporao Ngullie and general secretary, Sancheo Ezung appealed to all like-minded citizens to condemn such heinous crime. At the same time, it urged the law enforcing agencies to take the matter very seriously in booking the accused without bail and award stringent punishment to him. The Ekhung further prayed to God to give comfort and courage to the bereaved family members to overcome the sad moment.
